Taxonomy

Taxonomy is basically just a 'Rename' tool. Right now, it’s specifically used to relabel the Notes section on your invoices.

For example, if 'Notes' feels too generic and you’d rather it say 'Terms & Conditions,' 'Payment Instructions,' or 'Project Scope,' you can change it globally in the Taxonomy settings. It basically lets the software speak your business's language instead of forcing you to use the default terms.

  1. Go to the Admin panel in the navigation bar on the left hand side.

  2. Click Taxonomy under General.

  3. Click the three-dot menu next to Notes.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Type in the New label.

  6. Click the Save changes.
