Setting a custom autolock error message

If you do not set a custom autolock error message, default messages will be used depending on the autolock type:

• For 'End of the day' autolock, the default error message is 'You are not allowed to add, delete or change an entry for any day before yesterday.'

• For 'End of the week' autolock, the default error message is 'This project does not allow users to add/edit/delete hours for the previous & older weeks.'

• For 'End of the month' autolock, the default error message is 'This project does not allow users to add/edit/delete hours for the previous & older months.'

If you want to use a custom error message message, follow the following steps:

1. Click Settings from the side menu.

2. Under General, click Autolock error message.

3. Enter the custom error message you would like to display.

4. Click Save changes.

Once a custom error message is set, it will be applied to all autolock types (End of the day, End of the week and End of the month).
